I created Rebel Performance to provide former athletes turned busy professionals with the tools they need to reach their physique, health, and performance goals.

Our goal is to help you:

  1. Love what you see in the mirror - we call this improved body composition
  2. Love how you feel - we call this improved health
  3. Love how you “play” in and outside the gym - we call this improved performance

If this is your first time here, I encourage you to spend a few minutes looking through this document so you know who we are, what we do and how we help (you know…so we aren’t awkward internet friends)

1. What is Rebel Performance?

Rebel Performance is a complete start-to-finish training, nutrition and lifestyle system designed to teach you everything you’ll ever need to know about training, eating right and living your life so you can:

  1. Love what you see in the mirror - we call this improved body composition.
  2. Love how you feel - we call this improved health.
  3. Love how you “play” in and outside the gym - we call this improved performance.

Unfortunately, no other programs we are aware of focus on hitting the intersection of those big 3 qualities. Maybe they’ll help you with your physique, but you won’t see improvements in health and performance. Or maybe another program will help with your performance, but leave your health and physique behind. And then there are plenty of programs that focus on improving your health, but do nothing for your physique and performance.

I’ve spent the last 15+ years of my life studying, researching and generally being obsessed with training, nutrition and lifestyle design. I’ve logged more hours than I can count reading, traveling around the country learning from experts, experimenting in the research lab, teaching, coaching, and perhaps most importantly, applying it in the real world to myself and the thousands of clients we’ve helped here at RP.

All in the hope that I can help as many people as possible find the intersection of optimal physique, health and performance because I believe that’s what empowers you to live your best life.

In fact, I believe in that mission enough to have walked away from a PhD in Nutrition and Integrative Physiology because I realized the grant writing and research I was doing wasn’t creating the change I wanted to see in the world.

I studied performance, health, aging and longevity at a very deep level, but the honest truth is that we already know the answers to those questions - and as you may have guessed, they revolve around good nutrition, good training and good lifestyle design.

But research, and the funding that drives it, isn’t interested in good nutrition, good training and good lifestyle design. Rather, it wants to focus on how we can create drugs to try and circumvent the process.

This simply isn’t something I believe in. So, I walked away to work on something far more meaningful and impactful…
